S 3500-AL now with fire protection certificate based on DIN EN 45545-2 (08/2013)

Our thermal insulation material S 3500-AL consisting of a flaming-retarding modified PE foam with aluminium surface and fulfils the demands of the fire protection standard DIN EN 45545-2 (08/2013) for rail vehicles.

The material fulfils with the achieved test results the demands of the requirement sentence R1 with Hazard Level HL 3.
