Steinbach AG expands its machine park with additional Lithoz 3D printers

  • Long-term cooperation with Lithoz expanded
  • Latest, yet robust technology enables more and faster production
  • Ceramic 3D printing has long since arrived in mass production

(Detmold/Vienna, September 24th, 2020) With the acquisition of the CeraFab System S65 and thus investment in the latest generation of industrial 3D printers for high-performance ceramics, as well as other furnaces, Steinbach is meeting the growing demands for additive-manufactured components made of high-performance ceramics.

The CeraFab System S65 can be expanded to up to four production units to meet the needs of industrial series production. In combination with optimized process parameters, a significant increase in productivity is achieved.

An objective lens developed for the process ensures reproducible results in the micrometer range.

"We continue to trust in the cooperation with Lithoz and their CeraFab 3D printers because we are convinced of the outstanding quality and also find competent and fast support in our daily work," says Volker Sämann, Business Unit Manager of Steinbach AG.

Steinbach AG offers prototyping in series quality and series production for a wide range of applications and industries, for example medical technology, high-temperature applications, the electrical industry, the automotive industry and the aerospace industry. The special properties of ceramics are particularly necessary in demanding environments. With the proven LCM technology of Lithoz, finest components in convincing quality are possible and successfully used.
