Quality

The flexible and wear-resistant insulating cloths and mats dipose of a high resistance to oils, temperatures, acids, alkalis, light and fire. Some of them are self-extinguishing in case of fire. Moreover, depending on the material and the requirement, they differ according to their dielectric strength. They are easy to handle. The insulating mats dispose of an anti-slip effect due to a grooved surface.

Depending on the type, our insulating mats and insulating cloths are subject to the standard series of DIN-standard DIN EN 61111, DIN EN 61112 and DIN VDE 0303.

Materials

We produce our insulating cloths and mats from high-quality elastomers. For insulating mats, for example, we use a self-extinguishing compound of natural rubber (NR) and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR). We also use compounds of chloroprene (CR). Our insulating cloths, for example, consist of high-quality ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM).

Areas of application

Insulating mats and cloths prevent electricians and other persons from experiencing a grounding and thus being injured when working on electrical voltage generators. Insulating mats are used for local insulating areas, for example for transformer stations, control cabinets, control panels and control rooms. Insulating cloths are used to cover neighbouring live parts to avoid an accidental, direct contact.
