M 1579

M 1579 is a polyurethane-foam (polyether), covered with an aluminized polyethylene(PE-)-foil.
Self-adhesive equipment with a high-quality adhesive system based on acrylate.

Airborne sound absorption (absorption)

Sound insulating cabins, vehicle cabs, mechanical engineering etc.

The surface must be carefully cleaned from dust, grease, oil and water.
Full area adhesion has to be insured. The adhesion strength is directly dependent from the processing pressure. The material has to be pressed in firmly, e.g. using a feed roll.
Processing temperature: 18 - 25 °C

The surface is resistant against penetration by water, petrol and mineral oil

Dry at temperatures between 18 - 25 °C
Stackability: 100 parts (M 1579/15) and 50 parts (M 1579/30) till 50 °C
Max storage time: 6 months

Standard boards 1,000 x 1,600 mm,
other sizes and cut-to-size pieces upon request.
